EVEN UNDERWATER?

Aloha! I am here on the Big Island making preparations for the next Big Island Healing Retreat in April 2010. This morning I went snorkeling in one of the beautiful calm lagoons. The usually warm tropical water had chilled due to a storm current in the last couple of days. It was really cold! It made me grumpy and I didn’t want to deal with chilly water. Why feel cold when you’re in Hawaii?

TAP WHILE YOU SWIM!

I decided to tap while swimming over the reefs: “Even though the water feels cold….I still completely love and accept myself.” The inner and outer eyebrow points were a little challenging through my face mask, but it worked! In two short rounds of tapping I started laughing into my snorkel…”Ha! This is no time to wimp out! ”

WERE THERE OTHER FEELINGS?

Yes. As is often the case, after collapsing one emotional response down to zero, another feeling surfaced…extreme exhaustion. The whole month of November I’d worked intensely in my healing practice in California. As I floated around, I began tapping on feeling wiped out and just wanting to feel comfortable. Both the physical feeling of tiredness, and the emotional response to it cleared very quickly. Soon I was swimming over reefs and fish, feeling no cold, happy and free, with with energy to spare!

Blessings and Love,

Anita
